What is MCITP
What is MCITP you ask? MCITP stands for Microsoft Certified IT Professional and this is Microsoft’s new generation of professional IT certifications beginning from the Windows Server 2008 infrastructure and up. The MCITP certificication is comparable to Microsoft MCSA and MCSE certifications, although the MCITP syllabus is much more specialized which allows IT professionals to showcase their particular knowledge and skills in a better way.
The MCITP certification can be gained by achieving a pass in at least one MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist) exam and one MCITP exam but the number of exams all depends on what MCITP specialization you are getting certified in.
